A brutal killing has been reported in Dubai, where a 25-year-old flight attendant, Anastasia Nikulina, was murdered. According to reports in The Sun, she was struggling to escape from a stalker when she was killed in her hotel room.

The reports further state that the flight attendant from Russia had handed over cash to her former jealous partner as compensation for all the gifts he had given her when they were dating. The payments did little to stop the abuse, according to reports.

His demands did not end there. He even asked Anastasia to transfer the ownership of her car to him. According to the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda, new details of this case suggest that her boyfriend used to stalk her everywhere she went. “He beat her, broke into her homes and terrorized her.”

It is said that despite several police complaints, he would be released each time, which scared Anastasia. She feared being killed by him, hence she was trying to escape from Russia after feeling that the Russian police might not be able to protect her.

After bearing so much, Anastasia told her pals that she had started looking for another job with another airline, far away from St Petersburg. That is why she flew to Dubai to give a job interview, not knowing that this would be the end of her life.

Reportedly, she was brutally murdered, and her body was found in her room at the Voco Bonnington hotel with 15 stab wounds to her neck, torso, and limbs. The hotel staff found her body lying in a pool of blood, a couple of hours after the incident took place.

The suspect in the murder is Anastasia’s ex-boyfriend, Albert Morgan, who flew to Dubai from Russia with an accomplice. The 41-year-old suspect is a Russian legal consultant who had changed his surname to match that of JPMorgan after serving 7 years in jail for drug charges.

The reports state that Albert’s accomplice secretly followed Anastasia to her room, only to track her room number. Later, Morgan stole a hotel robe from a laundry section at the Voco Bonnington Dubai five-star hotel and pretended to have locked himself out of his room to the maid.

On his insistence, the maid opened Anastasia’s room to let Albert get in, thinking it was his room. Unfortunately, this little help ended on an ugly note for the flight attendant.

According to earlier reports, Albert had accused Anastasia of working as an escort with VIP passengers while they were dating.

Anastasia was “completely shocked” on seeing her stalker in the room. After an argument, it is alleged that he stabbed her with scissors repeatedly. He then poured antiseptic dye over her body before fleeing the hotel.

He then boarded a flight back to Russia shortly after the killing. He was identified by the Dubai police via CCTV, after which they warned the Russian police, who arrested Albert the moment he landed.

Albert has now demanded to be sent to fight in the war in Ukraine, and it is said that this is a controversial route that many criminals opt for to save themselves from prosecution, as per the Russian law.

Reportedly, Russian judges have remanded him in custody for two months pending trial.
