Fans soon flocked to the comments section to leave praises for her like “sensationally beautiful” and “so pretty.” At her age, the Joe Dirt star embodies classic glamor for longtime and new fans alike. While one user joked, “thats almost flirty ,Erin,” another person quipped, “No witchcraft needed for this beauty!”

Earlier, the former child star had posted a makeup-free selfie to Facebook. As she went barefaced in her October selfie, she dismissed facelift rumors.

She wrote in the captions, “This is 61…WITHOUT a facelift, without any makeup. Not sure why so many random people on social media feel the need to speculate that I’ve had a facelift; but I haven’t.” Murphy suggested that people who choose to be negative should stay quiet if they have nothing nice to say.

Interestingly, Murphy’s new holiday post coincides with Fox‘s recent announcement of a possible reboot of the 1964 classic. Murphy portrayed the pint-sized witch Tabitha Stephens for six seasons and 103 episodes.

She is currently the last surviving leading cast member of the popular series that aired until 1972. Murphy even worked with her twin sister Diane Murphy, sharing the role in the show’s early seasons.

Fox has announced a dramatic, hourlong reimagining of the iconic series. As the reboot is currently under development, the buzz around the reboot has ignited renewed attention for the sitcom’s legacy. However, there has been no official confirmation of Murphy joining the new cast.

Fans on Reddit has shared their own theories as they wish to see Murphy in a new role. One Redditor wrote, “It bugs me she’s around the age where she could play the Endora of the series. I can’t imagine Tabitha as a grandmother!” Another user asked, “Would Erin Murphy play Endora or Aunt Clara?”

Murphy’s ageless appearance has not gone unnoticed at recent fan events. Many are calling for her to return to the reboot, or even better, get her own Tabitha spinoff. Through her social media presence, Murphy remains relevant and connected across multiple generations.

She actively engages with fans through public appearances and social media. Murphy continues to reinforce her connection to the Bewitched legacy.

Murphy has been candid about natural aging for quite a long time now. Her addressing all the facelift speculations with such grace has only made her more relatable across generations.

Almost half a century after she first appeared on Bewitched as a child, Murphy still gets a lot of love from the fans. She told Remind magazine in an October interview, “They’re very supportive. Fans say, ‘I watched the show with my grandma,’ and now they’re sharing it with their kids and grandkids.”

The “heartfelt” reboot focuses on Samantha and Darrin Stephens (initially played by Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York, later by Dick Sargent). The story will navigate their disapproving parents and their walk on a tightrope of cultural clashes. The human-and-witch duo will have to bridge the gap between their worlds and families.
