Erika Kirk is once again drawing public attention. This time, it is for her claims about her past life before she met Charlie Kirk. Erika stepped into the limelight after her husband was fatally shot on September 10, while speaking in a debate at the American Comeback Tour event held at the Utah Valley University. Since Charlie’s death, Erika has since taken over as CEO of Turning Point USA.. 

Erika Kirk has frequently appeared at public events nationwide. She made one such appearance on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. While speaking during a CBS Town Hall, Kirk claimed that she never dated anyone when she lived in New York for five years. 

“When I lived out here, I was here for five years. I never dated here because I saw vicariously through my roommate how terrible it was.” She added, “Somehow, getting drinks became a replacement for having coffee or breakfast. I personally would rather have coffee or brunch with someone than go for drinks. I don’t drink, I find it unproductive. Not because I’m holier than anyone else; I just don’t operate that way.”

“I always thought it was very strange how she would go for drinks with one guy and then go to dinner with another. So it’s twofold. So if you’re expecting to marry someone that I was blessed with, like a Charlie, you have to be the type of woman that would attract a Charlie,” Kirk said. 

Following Kirk’s remarks, social media users began calling her out. Many believe that she was trying to slander the name of her roommate by throwing her under the bus just to prove her point. However, some started doing some digging into Erika’s past. 

Many content creators found old screenshots, photos, and videos of her alleged previous relationships. According to Parade, a TikTok creator posted a video claiming that she “allegedly had two boyfriends (that we know of) in the five years before meeting Charlie… the math isn’t mathing.”

Another user found old footage of Erika making a guest appearance on Season 3 of a TV show called Summer House. The show was filmed in 2018, and in it, she was portrayed as the love interest of one of the cast members. 

After seeing all this, many took to X to call Kirk out for lying and trying to pretend to be someone she’s not. A user tweeted, “Why is she pretending to be like someone that she’s not like? Furthermore, why is she throwing shade on her roommate for doing what she, herself, was doing? “Every accusation is a confession,” or so I’ve been told. Erika’s story stinks to high Heaven. This is a manuscript.”

Another wrote, “Why would she lie when she didn’t have to?? How can we take Erika seriously when she is lying to the viewers? I did not see this coming and am totally shocked that she would be this dishonest.” 

A third user posted a picture of Kirk’s couple’s photoshoot with Tyler Massey from March 2015, the time she claimed she lived in New York and didn’t date anyone for five years. 

As the online debate continues to grow, many users have claimed that they are starting to have a tough time believing whatever Erika Kirk says these days.
