Megyn Kelly has tried her best to mend the feud between Erika Kirk and Candace Owens. Kelly recently revealed that she even prays to Charlie Kirk and the Lord above to heal the rift between the two women.

Candace Owens has drawn attention for spreading conspiracy theories about Kirk’s death. Kirk was shot while speaking at a debate hosted by his Turning Point USA organization at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. A 22-year-old man named Tyler Robinson was arrested as the alleged shooter.

However, Owens has other beliefs. She thinks Israel, France, and Egypt were involved in Kirk’s assassination. Her conspiracy theories have gained a lot of media attention, but she does not have any evidence to back up her claims.

These theories and statements have resulted in a rift between her and Erika Kirk. The two women even did a sit-down interview on December 15, 2025. Although Owens initially claimed that their four-and-a-half-hour conversation was “extremely productive,” more chatter started to come out following the interview.

Owens even stated that she avoided drinking water during her meeting with Erika Kirk due to the fear of it being poisoned. Following the interview, the 36-year-old is still unconvinced that Robinson is the one who shot Charlie Kirk.

According to OK Magazine USA, on December 19, 2025, journalist Megyn Kelly spoke to the audience during Turning Point USA’s America Fest event. She talked about how she didn’t agree with the things Owens was saying about TPUSA and Erika Kirk but prayed that Charlie Kirk and God would show her the right path.

“Of course I don’t agree with what [Candace’s] said about Turning Point and Erika, and she knows that.” Kelly added, “But my point was simply that I thought maybe Charlie [would] help me understand to keep my powder dry in the whole thing so maybe I could be in a position to make it happen. I’ve prayed so many times to Charlie, and to God, to give me the right guidance on how to handle this whole thing,” she stated.

Megyn Kelly also revealed that Owens wanted to meet Erika Kirk during the America Fest; however, it couldn’t happen due to some security issues. She further stated that she wants the 36-year-old to move on from Erika and TPUSA. “What I really want is for Candace to move on from Turning Point and from Erika. I have no problem with her asking questions, but not about them.”

Following their conversation on December 15, Erika did an interview with Fox News on December 21. During the interview, she talked about how things between her and Owens went down.

“[We] provided what we want to provide to show context and also to show we have nothing to hide. … You just let the Lord do the rest. I pray for her, I pray for her family. … I don’t have time for the noise. I said my piece, and that’s it.”
