The royal family never fails to surprise everyone with their actions, which often make headlines. And the latest attention they grabbed were after the royal Christmas walk. King Charles made a bold move by making the daughters of Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, walk in the parade by his side in full public view.
Yes! You heard that right. According to The Daily Beast, King Charles took this decision at a time when the scandals of their parents in the Jeffrey Epstein case had resurfaced and had dragged their name into it in the most toxic possible way.
Just two days before the Christmas celebrations, a set of new documents in the Epstein case was released. Though the files contained no major new revelations, the one fact that remains constant is the disgrace that Andrew has brought to the royal family with his name attached to the scandal.
According to the portal, one of the most explosive details revealed through the leaked documents was a note from Andrew while staying at Balmoral summer camp with the royal family. He wrote this note to Epstein’s lieutenant, Ghislaine Maxwell, wherein he had asked her to help him find “inappropriate new friends.”
The question that arises after this year’s Christmas walk in the presence of Andrew’s daughter, Princess Beatrice, and Eugenie is, what was the King even thinking while taking this step? Many are questioning King’s decision to publicly promote two key members of the family who have brought so much shame to the royal family.

Earlier, it was reported in the Sun that Princess Beatrice and Eugenie were in a dilemma after receiving a double invitation to celebrate Christmas. One from the King and the other one from their parents, Andrew and Sarah, who are most likely spending their 25th December in the royal lodge.
But, they revealed that Princess Beatrice had opted to go skiing with husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi and friends. The reports further stated that she had decided to “avoid embarrassment.” But looks like nothing of that sort happened.
According to The Daily Beast, a source close to the royal family had revealed that the attendance of Andrew’s daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, at the pre-Christmas lunch was just a test to see whether the public would accept them joining the family on Christmas Day.
“It was essentially a softening-up exercise for them to join Charles and William on the walk to church on Christmas Day. The newspapers haven’t made a squeak, so I guess they will be there,” said the source.

Right after Prince Andrew was stripped of all his royal titles earlier this year, it was announced that his daughter, Princess Beatrice, would become a patron of the Outward Bound Trust. This is a cause close to the heart of Prince Philip.
Although rescuing Andrew seems way too complicated after his name has been dragged into the Epstein scandal beyond measure, his daughters can be rehabilitated, scrubbed clean, and reinserted into royal life. And it appears that King Charles, with the same intention, made Beatrice and Eugenie walk in the Christmas parade.
