The debate around the existence of God has been universal. While religious people believe in the power of the Almighty, atheists have often argued about the validity of this notion. Now, South Korean scientist YoungHoon Kim, who is said to be the man with the highest IQ in the world, has given his opinion on the same.
According to Vt, YoungHoon Kim reportedly possesses an IQ of 276 and is touted to be the most intelligent person in the world. The average IQ of a person is said to be around 100, and anyone with an IQ above 140 is considered to be a “genius.”
While Albert Einstein’s IQ was around 160, Isaac Newton and Voltaire’s IQs ranged from 200. On the other hand, William Shakespeare’s IQ was said to be around 210, and Leonardo Da Vinci’s was at 220.

However, Kim is said to have surpassed their numbers, according to the Giga Society for people with IQs above 190, who made this claim in April 2024. They revealed that the scientist came up with a score of 276 and is currently the most intelligent person in the world.
The scientist, who is reportedly 36 years old, also scored perfect marks in many other tests. Professionally, he is currently the president and the executive director at the United Sigma Intelligence Association (USIA).
Apart from this, he also serves as an intelligence specialist advisor at the World Memory Championships, World Mind Sports Council, World Mind Mapping Championships, and World Speed Reading Championships. Now, taking to his social media account, he has given his verdict on the existence of God.
Kim shared a video of himself where he could be seen saying, “God is real 100%, and Jesus is God—World’s Highest IQ 276 Holder.” The scientist, who enjoys around 131K followers on his Instagram account, often preaches about the power of Jesus Christ.

Previously, he could be seen revealing to his followers, “Christ is my logic.” He further claimed that he wishes to use his social media account to spread faith and devotion for Jesus Christ among his followers.
The scientist also holds a theology degree from Yonsei University in Seoul. He hailed theology as “the ultimate discipline of all fields of study.” Not only this, but Kim also believes in the concept of the afterlife, which again has been a never-ending subject of debate.
To support his claim, he said that the afterlife aligns with science using theories of consciousness and quantum physics. On this, Kim said, “If reality is part of something bigger, then death is not the end, but a transition.”

He added, “Our death is not destruction, but change and shift. Humanity will keep searching for the truth about what comes after.” Some social media users also shared their reactions to his posts and further had questions for him.
One user said, “Just curious—as the man with the highest recorded IQ, what was it that convinced you that God is real and Christianity is the true faith?” Another one asked, “Ok, so surely a man of your IQ can present some evidence, right? Right?”
An Instagram user who did not seem to align with the 276 IQ holder’s school of thought said, “IQ scores don’t turn belief into proof…. And absolute certainty is not a flex. It’s a tell. Faith isn’t diminished by doubt—it’s diminished by pretending doubt doesn’t exist.” Another user called him out and said, “IQ has nothing to do with belief and religion.”
