Everything in the royal family may not be perfect, but the love between Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton seems to be beyond perfection these days. According to US Weekly, a royal expert has opened up about the truth of their marriage, and we bet it is only going to leave you happy and smiling.
According to People, royal historian Amanda Foreman revealed that William treats her like “his new bride,” and they seem “more loved-up than ever”. In the last two years, the couple has gone through a lot, owing to Kate’s cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Prince William praised his wife “incredible Loyalty” yesterday & it echoes his Univ friend’s words:
“Kate was different from the girls he’d dated in the past. He found her natural, her ways comforting. She did not gossip or seek attention & she was very loyal.”

The historian credited this “terrible” ordeal for bringing them closer together. She further explained that such situations either tear a couple apart or, in their case, bring them together. “It irons out the kinks and enables them to see each other clearly.”
It was in March 2024 that Kate was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer. Earlier this year, in January, the princess announced that she was officially in remission. It was quite a tough 2024 for William too, as he learned about his father’s cancer diagnosis of his father, King Charles III.
The Prince of Wales, earlier in Apple TV’s The Reluctant Traveler, termed 2024 as the “hardest year” he has ever had. “You know, life is sent to test us as well, and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are.”
Even the rough patch between Kate and William did not part them, and they stood united to face the challenges life threw at them. In fact, their relationship is in the best phase of their lives, as these two lovebirds are often spotted stepping out for multiple high-profile events together.
In one of the rare sightings, we got to see Kate and William indulge in some cute PDA when the Prince planted a kiss on his wife’s hands at the Royal Variety Performance at Royal Albert Hall in London last month. Not just this, the couple even stood out while celebrating German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s visit to the United Kingdom.
Kate and William moved out of the Adelaide Cottage to Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park in November. They put the princess’s illness behind them and took this significant step, marking a new era for their family. A source close to the couple had told US Weekly at the time, “The decision to move into this new home is a significant one that signals independence, though it is not entirely surprising.”

According to a royal source, Kate and William’s son, Prince George, is expected to attend boarding school soon, while Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will follow suit in the next few years. This new home will give them a chance to be closer to their kids.
The source also revealed that Kate and William are very strict about their boundaries to protect their mental health and family life. “They have witnessed how the role of monarch can consume one’s entire being,” the insider added. “While they take their responsibilities very seriously, they are not afraid to say no when necessary.”
In fact, the source also quipped that the couple plans to stay in this house even after William becomes the King. Although this may sound quite surprising to outsiders, a royal not living in Buckingham Palace is not at all surprising to insiders. “King Charles has not lived there for a long time either and prefers to spend time outside of London.”
For now, what leaves us in awe is that Kate and William are living happily married lives and reigniting their love away from Buckingham Palace.
